HK Arts new look

I've had the same old logo, stationery and website for about 14 years now. We cobbled it all together ourselves back in the early days of HK Art. What it lacked in looks, it made up for in search engine rankings. Once google spiders and the like got hold of it we had regular, good quality enquiries coming direct to us and our work really picked up.

The old website needed to go; the work on it looked dated and it didn't reflect the direction HK Arts work has been going in these last couple of years. You'll no longer see large scale themed murals or trompe l'oeil but more paint finishes and effects for walls, furniture painting, colour consultancy and my new love....gilding. Mmmm! More of that later.

So, while we're waiting for Melly to do his teccy stuff on the new website, I've been playing with the rubber stamps that arrived this morning.

The ace Molly Cockcroft designed the new logo and website. I wanted to have handmade business cards this time. Everything I do is by hand, so it seemed fitting to carry this through onto the business stationery. I love the quality of Letterpress printing and Gills Sans typeface; I just haven't got the time to do proper letterpress as there's so many other things to concentrate on at the minute. So,rubber stamps it is!

See pictures..... I'm very pleased!
